General Conditions of Sale

1. Subject Matter and Scope

These General Conditions of Sale (GCS) govern all bookings made with the establishment Au Pré Verger, for the rental of the gîte or bed and breakfast accommodation located at 294 chemin de la Font Devay, 69210 L'Arbresle. Any booking constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these GCS.

3. Description of Accommodations

The accommodations offered are a gîte and bed and breakfast room located in a natural setting in L'Arbresle. The capacity, available equipment, and rates are specified at the time of booking. The photographs presented on the website are provided for illustrative purposes and are not contractual.

4. Booking

The booking is considered firm and final upon receipt of the full stay payment and written confirmation from the owner. The tenant agrees to provide accurate information at the time of booking (name, first name, number of people, stay dates). Any false declaration engages the liability of the tenant.

5. Refusal of Booking

The owner reserves the right to refuse a booking, particularly in the event of force majeure, unavailability of the accommodation or legitimate reasons related to the proper operation of the establishment. In such cases, the traveler will be fully refunded for any amounts already paid, without further compensation.

7. Prices and Payment Methods

8. Payment

The total amount of the stay is paid online, before arrival, via the secure payment link sent to the email address provided when making the booking request, after the request has been accepted.

9. Cancellation Conditions

• Cancellation more than 48 hours before arrival (from 4:00 PM on the start date of the stay): full refund of amounts paid.
• Cancellation less than 48 hours before arrival (from 4:00 PM on the start date of the stay): amounts paid are retained as compensation.
• In case of cancellation by the owner (except in cases of force majeure), the tenant will be fully refunded the amounts paid.

10. Tourist Tax

In accordance with current regulations, the tourist tax is collected from tenants. Its amount, set by the municipality of L'Arbresle, is indicated at the time of booking and is added to the price of the stay. The calculation details are available on the dedicated tourist tax website.

11. House Rules

The customer accepts the website's terms of use as soon as a booking request is made and undertakes to comply with the stay rules described therein.

13. Insurance

The tenant is advised to check that their home contents insurance covers damage that may occur in the context of a holiday rental (water damage, fire, broken glass, owner's recourse). Cancellation insurance is also recommended.

13. Disputes and Mediation

In the event of a dispute, the tenant is invited to contact the owner first at contact@aupreverger.fr in order to seek an amicable resolution. In the absence of a resolution, the tenant may freely use a consumer mediator in accordance with Article L. 612-1 of the French Consumer Code.

14. Applicable Law

These GCS are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution falls under the jurisdiction of the French courts.

15. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these General Conditions of Sale at any time. Modifications take effect as soon as they are published online. Customers are invited to consult the content of this page regularly.
